American College of Employee Benefits Counsel Announces Jonathan M. Feigenbaum, Esq.to be Inducted as a Fellow

August 1, 2017 Boston, Massachusetts – Jonathan M. Feigenbaum, Esq. will be inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel on Saturday, October 14 at the 2017 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California. The mission of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel is to increase the public’s understanding of employee benefits law and to raise its standards.

An election to the College reflects careful judgment by prominent employee benefits practitioners. Inductees must meet demanding criteria, emphasizing both excellence in the quality of practice and serious contributions to the public’s understanding and appreciation of employee benefits law.  Jonathan’s record of notable achievement and dedication reflects the type of activities that the College was created to honor.

“I am excited honored to be chosen by my peers to be inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Their mission aligns with my belief about the importance of increasing my clients understanding of employee benefits law.”

Membership Criteria

Fellows of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel are selected by the College’s Board of Governors from among employee benefits attorneys nominated for that honor and recommended for consideration by the Board’s Membership Committee after considering the recommendations of regional screening committees. Fellows must have a minimum of 20 years experience. Selection as a Fellow reflects the Board’s judgment that a nominee has made significant contributions to the advancement of the employee benefits field.

The College is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to elevating the standards and advancing the public’s understanding of the practice of employee benefits law. There has never been any other institution devoted to recognizing and encouraging excellence in the field of employee benefits law, and the profession’s waning ability to recognize the excellence of the field’s pioneers was another significant motivating factor in the formation of the College. In continuous pursuit of its goals, the College encourages the study and development of employee benefits laws and initiates professional discussions of significant employee benefits issues.
